| So, everyone got together and had a meeting while I was playing Wow. I hear the minutes are quite exiting, and that I was voted treasurer. Anyhow, I took it upon myself to contribute a little by making a website. Forums are on the way, hope you guys like it! Leaf |

| After getting the forums up and running, yourbb.com seems to have wiped it's forum list without any warning. Needless to say, I won't be using them as our forum host again, and am now in the hunt for a decent forum. Leaf |

| After about two weeks of work, our by-laws for the club seem to be done. Major kudos to Katie for being a key player in not only the drafting, but design of the by-laws. Hopefully I'll have a link to them soon! Leaf |

| Well, I was informed when I rolled out of the sack Friday morning that Zach, Jude and I were going to Uwharrie for a short getaway. We had a blast on the rocks, and it's changed a lot since the last trip, thanks to 2-3 inches of rain last week. Daniel was a bit more fun this go around, and Kodak rock is getting a bit grisly. I lost some paint on those rock rails of mine, and Zachary's steering linkage fell apart? Go figure. He put it back together, despite being under constant attack by raging, killer zombie hornets. Oh, and we spent 45 minutes high lift jacking my Jeep off a crest that was a little higher than my breakover. In the mud, at 2:00 am. Leaf |

| Although I was unable to attend due to a minor surgery, Judah and Zachary informed me that the Marsh grass planting went well, and that they think several of the people who were there thought that they were town employees. The grass was planted, and it was accomplished in a timely fashion in no small part due to their example. In other words, nobody there had a clue, and they showed them what the heck to do. | I found a new host for our forums, and I'm working to get them set up. I have updated the link on the forums page to work for the new one, so you can check it out and register. Everything may not be completely set up, but you can go ahead and register and whatnot. Leaf |
| 9/7/06 - New Forums and Meeting change. |
| The new forums are up, and I think I have most of the bugs worked out of it. I'm not that familiar with phpbb, so bear with me for a bit :) Also, the September meeting has been moved, with a new tentative date of 9/17/06 @ 7:30 pm, Famous Subs. Psycho is picking up the tab, so come hungry. Leaf |

| Had a good monthly meeting, with lots of talking about Jeeps, meeting a prospective new member and telling horrible jokes. We didn't take minutes or anything of that nature, as most of the talk centered around anticipation of next month's trip to Uwharrie. If you are trying to get prepared to go, make sure you have turned in an application (we need the emergency contact numbers) and have a first aid kit and fire extinguisher on board your vehicle.
